Today we met another staff member: Kat. She was more interested in us than Nikita and Hannah and she also told about her personal life. As the latter looked up to us as foreigners, Kat talked to us like we had been her collegues for a longer time. Also, Kat had a really cute dog named Sky (photo). That's maybe why I liked her the most of the staff members ;) .
Joy brought us to the center of Buxton in the afternoon. There were two small indoor shopping malls and several shops outside. The shops were not extraordinary. We didn't see any souvenir shop unfortunately. I bought earstuds and some candy to survive the next days.
In the evening Merel and I went to a different pub: the Royal Oak. We had to walk next to the main road to get there. I was only a 15 minute walk. It was way fancier than we thought it would be. On almost every table was a little card that said 'reserved'. Luckily, there were still a few tables available and we enjoyed a nice meal.
Only one day left at the Sanctuary.
